William (Will) Molls

Hi! My name is William Molls, but you can call me Will!

I create and manage content on the internet, and I’ve been doing this for about two decades.

What I enjoy most is writing, which I primarily do for NEXT Magazine in Toronto. You can read some of the things I’ve written here.

I’m also NEXT Magazine’s Operations Manager, which means I work on both the print and digital sides of the publication to oversee production, distribution, and manage our digital presence. NEXT was created by the pioneers behind NOW Magazine and is its spiritual successor as Toronto’s alternative, progressive, counterculture voice. It’s a really cool job!

Outside of that role, I am a digital media operations specialist. I’m an expert with WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition, and Premiere Pro, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and many other digital media and marketing tools. (Curious about something specific? Ask me!

I’m always open to hearing about new career opportunities, so don’t hesitate to contact me if you think I’d be a good fit for a role you’re trying to fill at your organization. Feel free to read my LinkedIn profile if you want to know more about my professional experience.

In my spare time, I’m a curmudgeonly neighborhood busybody. I’m fairly active in local politics and have worked as an Outreach Specialist for winning municipal campaigns here in Toronto for Mayor Olivia Chow and Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik.

I’m passionate about fixing Toronto’s housing crisis and strongly believe co-op housing is the most obvious solution, which is why I’m an active member of the Co-operative Housing Federation of Toronto (CHFT) and my own co-op, Harbour Channel Housing Co-operative.

Assuming you found this website by doing a Google search for my name: feel free to contact me if you want to know more about me!

My apologies if you were searching for Billy Molls from “The Life and Lore of William Molls.” That video isn’t about me. Presumably, he is a distant cousin of mine, but I don’t know the guy. I actually wrote an email to the people behind that video once, but they never got back to me. Maybe they were worried about identity theft, or something? I mean, they’re not the ones with a video about your “Life and Lore” that’s actually about a hardcore hunting enthusiast that comes up whenever you Google your own name, you know?
